Obsidian Watertight USB 

KEEP studio worked with Kinemetrics and their Taiwanese supplier to design and produce the USB cable which allows exchange of data between M12 and USB A connectors with a watersafe IP67 rated housing.

The Obsidian is Kinemetrics’ NEW multi-channel seismic recorder and open-architecture seismic data acquisition system. It is designed to give you the flexibility required by the earthquake monitoring solutions of tomorrow, being the most versatile seismic recorder of today.

There are several standard recorded data formats to select from, or you can add your own. On the fly processing of parametric data using your algorithms. Access the system using a web browser remotely or locally and wirelessly. Where it makes sense to retrieve data locally, do it with a simple thumb drive without commands or buttons.
