Communicating Design

Sketching is a primary component of industrial design, and is a tool throughout the design thinking process to communicate many elements of design intent.  Form, color, texture, material can be explored and ideas expressed quickly and efficiently through sketching.

These sketches are a few selected from our month of #inktober spent exploring visual communication styles.  The results included analog pen and paper, and digital sketching in Autodesk sketchbook, and Procreate on wacom tablet and iPad.
